Mary Zilba Receives Second Lawsuit

The Real Housewives of Vancouver's Mary Zilba has been slapped with another lawsuit. This time the issue is about cocktails promoted on the still-on-hiatus RHOV. The lawsuit demands Mary to stop promoting a cocktail called "Cocktails by Mary". The lawsuit was filed by TML Venture Inc. a company which Mary is allegedly a shareholder of. The company says that by promoting the Cocktails by Mary, she is violating a shareholder's agreement that forbids promoting a competitor's product.

Mary was contacted by The Province, who originally obtained the documents citing the lawsuit. She said that there was not a real story and that she was simply contacted by a "brand guy" for a "branding exercise".

"There’s nothing to that. It’s fictional. I’m not doing another drink, so there’s no issue.”  she said.

This is the second lawsuit Mary has been faced with within a week. The first one was filed by former co-star Jody Claman who says Mary defamed her family when she spoke to CBC about Mia Claman's shooting.
